Roaster Tasting Notes:
This coffee has a malty sweetness, with a hint of spice, and of orange. Lightly roasted to first crack. This coffee has a distinct flavor from its cousins - Sumatra and Sulawesi.
A unique Indonesian Coffee, the trees are actually transplants from Jamaican Blue Mountain growing regions. The combination of the Jamaican Blue Mountain trees and the superior Indonesian soil creates a coffee that is somewhere in between. Not as earthy as a Sumatra, and a lighter body than that of Java, it is a very clean cup with a sweet acidity and deep complex flavor.
