Roaster Tasting Notes:
This area of Burundi is in the mountainous northern part of the country near the borders of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The small landholders who grow Ngoma are usually members of cooperative-like association of area farmers. The cultivar is Bourbon, an heirloom Arabica varietal that is fully washed and sun-dried on raised African beds.
What results is a crisp, fruity acidity & full, yet silky body that balances with spicy and sweet citrus flavors, and notes of tobacco and cedar.
